Utility Overview

The Sapphire IrDA Utility is designed for eVB and VB.NET developers allowing an application to print text to a printer via the IrDA port. The utility is capable of doing the following:

• Establish a connection with an IrDA enabled printer
• Print text to the printer
• Print new lines and form feeds
• Send escape codes to add functionality
• Close the connection with the printer
